So, I'm thrilled to report that the new June issue of inCite magazine - the news magazine of the Australian Library and Information Association - has a lovely review by Jill Enks of The Priestess and the Slave.
Ms Enks writes, among other nice things, "If you have even a little interest in or knowledge of Ancient Greece, Jenny Blackford’s first book The priestess and the slave is well worth reading... Jenny has an extraordinary knowledge of Ancient Greece, both of the politics and the ordinary lives of the citizens. She writes with authority, providing fascinating details of life at that time. She also develops two characters with whom we can truly empathise. Both stories are suspenseful and fast moving. I hope that Jenny will continue writing historical books of such high quality."
I'd LOVE to see some copies of TPATS appearing in libraries around Australia!

Facebook is fun and short and there is so much going on - not to mention the fact people keep sending me 'trees' 'birds' (etc.) I'm not going to be able to play all the games but they are interesting to check on now and then.
Twitter is speedy and overwhelming, but there is so much more there it's a span of the globe. Not to mention if there is a real time thing (search) go to twittersearch.com and look. It'll be there long before google. and more people directions as well.
Linkedin has an overloaded overhead, but needed as well.
Thanks for letting me ramble!
